Funded History Projects

Picture
HistoryNeedsYou work on a wide variety of funded projects. Our multi-disciplinary team and wide range of skills mean we can undertake entire projects in-house, from research and initial bid through to evaluated, completed project. We are equally at home working as part of a larger team, or leading a project ourselves.

We can:
  • Help you research the best source of funding
  • Advise on how the project should be shaped to comply with funding requirements
  • Work with you on writing your bid
  • Resource your project from our multi-disciplinary team
  • Publicise your project through local and national media
  • Deliver the data you need for submission to funders

Projects include:
  • Gloriana for Heritage at Great St. Mary's Church, Cambridge - a spectacular one day historical pageant which attracted a diverse audience of thousands
  • The King Returns for Hoghton Tower - a year long project involving research, community participation, outreach, school visits, engaging diverse audiences and culminating in a two day living history/drama event commemorating the visit of King James I
  • Wind Steam and Diesel for the Ouse Washes Landscape Partnership - working with Prickwillow Museum to create education resources, including films, a website, content and consultancy on handheld devices for visitors
  • Cromwell in Cambridge for Heritage at Great St. Mary's, Cambridge - a family-friendly heritage event as part of Heritage Open Days
  • Telling the Tale of the Tame for Tame Valley Wetlands Landscape Partnership - an oral history project with outputs including a book, films and an interactive map
